What changed at Fallsview Casino Resort in 2025–2026

If you last stayed at Fallsview Casino Resort a few seasons ago, the main changes we could verify are selective rather than sweeping. The resort publishes plenty of current operating detail, but not a tidy year-by-year change log. Here is what is dated, sourced and useful when you are planning one to three nights in 2026.

The short version: there is no full resort change log

For this note, I treated “changed” narrowly. A change had to appear in the resort’s own pages, a dated Mohegan release, Niagara Parks transit information, or the FACTS we keep for this site. That leaves a fairly short list.

The verified items are: Fallsview Privé opened in 2026; the Privacy Policy changed on 2026-09-18; the Nov 2026 Players Insider says offers are no longer printed in the newsletter and should be viewed through My Momentum; the WEGO Red Line had already been replaced by Niagara Region Transit routes 116/216 on 2024-09-03; and MLSE is listed as an official sports sponsor.

That does not mean nothing else changed. It means the resort does not publish enough dated public material for us to state more than that. Restaurant pages, room descriptions, parking language and theatre listings can change without a public note that says when. For the standing hotel picture, use the full review. For category names and view language, use rooms and suites.

One age point still matters if your group includes younger travellers: casino entry is 19+ in Ontario, and minors cannot be on the gaming floor. That rule has not been listed here as a 2025–2026 change; it is simply the operating context for a casino hotel stay.

Fallsview Privé opened in 2026

The largest dated property change we could verify is the opening of Fallsview Privé, described in a Mohegan release dated 2026-06-25. The release gives specific numbers: 27 table games and 95 slot machines. It also names Vista Bar and Lounge and Fallsview PL8, a hospitality lounge for eligible Momentum members.

For most overnight guests, this is a property change rather than a reason to rearrange a weekend. It adds a new VIP gaming space and two named hospitality venues within that area. It does not change the published hotel check-in time, check-out time, pool hours or room categories in the material we have.

If you are planning around dinner or a show, this opening should be treated as part of the casino side of the resort, not as a general restaurant opening for every guest. The FACTS describe Vista Bar and Lounge as inside Fallsview Privé, and Fallsview PL8 as light snacks and refreshments for eligible Momentum members, inside Privé.

The practical planning note is simple: if your stay depends on a public dining reservation, keep using the resort’s listed restaurants rather than assuming access to Privé venues. Our restaurants and bars page keeps the public-facing names separate from spaces tied to eligibility or the gaming floor.

A privacy-policy date appeared in September 2026

The resort’s site records a Privacy Policy change dated 2026-09-18. We do not summarize the legal text here because the FACTS only verify that the policy changed, not the substance of each clause.

If that matters to you, read the current policy on the resort’s official site before you book or create an account. Use the resort’s own pages for the live version: fallsviewcasinoresort.com. This site is independent and does not control the resort’s privacy terms, loyalty account pages or booking engine.

From a travel-planning point of view, the date is still worth noting. Many readers now manage stays, offers, show tickets and dining plans through a mix of hotel sites, loyalty accounts and email. When a policy has a recent change date, you should treat old screenshots, forwarded emails and saved terms as stale unless they match the current page.

For this site’s own data practices, see the privacy page in the footer. For the resort, use the official policy on the resort’s domain.

Momentum offer notices moved away from the printed newsletter

The Nov 2026 Players Insider includes a practical change for Momentum members: offers are no longer printed in the newsletter and should be viewed through My Momentum.

That matters if you are trying to coordinate a hotel night with an offer, a show date or a dinner plan. Do not rely on a printed newsletter as the final source for current offer details. Check My Momentum directly, then compare any hotel dates with the room category you actually want.

This is also where wording matters. Momentum details in our FACTS include tiers, status points and selected perks, but this site does not handle loyalty offers and does not verify whether a particular guest qualifies. We can help you shape a room request by date, season and view preference; we cannot see your account.

If you are choosing the stay mainly around a performance, plan the hotel first and then confirm tickets through the official show pages. Our guide to shows at OLG Stage and Avalon Theatre explains the two venues and how a show night works when you are sleeping at the resort.

Transit around the falls had already changed before 2025

One nearby change is not a 2025 change, but it still catches returning visitors. Niagara Parks states that the WEGO Red Line became Niagara Region Transit local routes 116/216 on 2024-09-03.

If your last Niagara stay was before that, do not plan with an old Red Line map. The FACTS say the Blue Line is operated by Niagara Parks, and the Orange Line is the Niagara-on-the-Lake shuttle with a transfer at Floral Clock. WEGO pass prices in our file are adult 24h $16.00 and 48h $20.00; child 3–12 24h $12.00 and 48h $16.00; 2 and under free. Passes are sold at the Niagara Parks Shop/Welcome Centre at Fallsview Casino Resort.

For arrivals by car, the resort’s own parking page still does not publish fixed dollar rates in the facts we have. It says parking rates will fluctuate and be determined at the time of departure. If you are driving from the Toronto area or Buffalo, use current road and border information for the day, then read our pages on getting there from Toronto and parking and valet for the pieces the resort does publish.

What did not have a dated 2025–2026 change we could verify

We could not verify a dated 2025–2026 change to the main room category list. The resort’s published categories in our facts remain Deluxe Rooms, Diplomat Suites, Parlour Suites, Executive Suites, Ambassador Suites and Premier Suites. As always, “Fallsview” in a room name or category is not a promise of the exact view from a specific room; it is a category and request language needs to be precise.

We also did not find a dated public change to check-in and check-out. The FACTS still show check-in 4pm and check-out 11am. Room service is listed as daily 7AM–11AM and 6PM–11PM. The indoor pool is listed as 7am–10pm, and the work-out area as 7am–9pm.

On seasonal planning, use dated event information only. The verified winter lighting dates in our file are Winter Festival of Lights from November 14, 2026 to January 10, 2027, with displays lit nightly 5:00pm–midnight. The verified summer fireworks line is nightly 10:00 p.m. from Friday May 15, 2026 to Monday October 12, 2026, weather dependent. For month-by-month context, start with home or the seasonal pages.

The cleanest way to use this update is not to hunt for a dramatic renovation story. Treat it as a dated correction sheet before you choose your nights.
