Spa, pool and fitness at Fallsview Casino Resort
On a cold Niagara day, you can build a quiet stay around the resort’s indoor pool, work-out area, Damara Day Spa, dinner and a show. The useful part is knowing what the resort publishes, what it does not, and where you need to ask ahead. Use this page as a practical check before you choose dates.

What the resort publishes
Fallsview Casino Resort publishes three useful wellness facts for overnight guests: an indoor pool, a work-out area, and Damara Day Spa on the 3rd floor at 6380 Fallsview Blvd.
The indoor pool hours are published as 7am–10pm. The work-out area hours are published as 7am–9pm. The pool rule is specific: guests must be 12+ unless accompanied by a parent or designated adult aged 16+, and a daily key is required.
Damara Day Spa publishes daily hours of Mon–Sun 10:00 AM–8:00 PM. Its listed services are facials, massages, Japanese Head Spa, packages, body treatments, pedicures/manicures, kids spa, waxing and tinting, and makeup.
The resort’s own pages do not publish a treatment-room count. They also do not mention a hot tub or sauna on the fetched pool and fitness pages, so you should not plan your day around either unless Damara or the resort confirms it directly for your dates.
If the wellness facilities are central to your stay, treat them the way you would treat show tickets or a dinner reservation. Check the current resort information before you travel, and ask your booking contact to flag the pool, fitness and spa timing in your room request.
How to use them on a winter day
Winter is when these indoor pieces matter most. Niagara mist can make the ridge feel raw, and daylight is shorter, so a useful plan starts indoors and leaves the falls walk for the clearest part of the day.
A simple rhythm works. Use the work-out area in the morning while it is open from 7am–9pm. If you want pool time, go before lunch or before dinner, keeping the 7am–10pm hours and the daily key rule in mind. Book Damara Day Spa between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, then leave a buffer before dinner or a theatre curtain.
For a one-night winter stay, I would avoid stacking every indoor activity into the arrival evening. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am, so your most flexible spa window may be the morning after arrival or the late afternoon before a show. If you are travelling from Toronto or Buffalo in winter, build in weather time before any appointment.
For more seasonal packing and evening-light notes, use our page on winter at the falls. If you are pairing the spa with a performance, the schedule planning is easier from the shows at OLG Stage and Avalon Theatre page.
What to ask before you pack a swimsuit
The published facts are helpful, but they do not answer every practical question. The resort does not publish pool dimensions in the facts we have, and it does not publish lane-swim rules, towel policy, change-room details, or whether pool capacity is managed at busy times.
For the work-out area, the resort publishes the hours but not an equipment list. If you need a specific treadmill, bike, weights setup or accessible feature, ask before you rely on it. This is especially important for a short stay, where a closed machine or full room can change your morning plan.
For Damara Day Spa, the service categories are published, but individual treatment lengths, current treatment descriptions and availability can change. The spa publishes its own contact numbers, and appointment details should be confirmed with the spa or through the resort before you arrive.
Pack lightly but deliberately: swimsuit, sandals for the pool area, a cover-up or comfortable clothing for moving between your room and the spa, and a warm outer layer for going outside afterwards. In winter, hair that is still damp from a pool or treatment is uncomfortable on the Fallsview ridge.
If you are driving, pair this planning with parking and valet, since published parking rates are not fixed in advance and winter arrivals can take longer.
Rooms, views and wellness timing
If your stay is built around the spa and pool rather than the casino floor, your room request should say so. Ask for the dates, number of guests, bed preference, and whether your priority is a quieter room, a shorter internal walk, or a view category.
The resort’s published room categories include Deluxe Rooms, Diplomat Suites, Parlour Suites, Executive Suites, Ambassador Suites and Premier Suites. Some categories refer to falls, city, panoramic falls, American Falls, or views overlooking Niagara Falls. Be careful with wording: “Fallsview” in a room name or category is not a promise of the exact view you may be picturing. It is a category, and rooms can face Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, both in some cases, or the city depending on what is assigned.
If a whirlpool tub matters, the published room facts are more useful than the category label. Diplomat Suites list a 1½ whirlpool tub and shower, Parlour Suites list a separate 1½ whirlpool tub and shower, Ambassador Suites list a whirlpool tub, and Premier Suites list an oversized bathroom with whirlpool tub. Availability still depends on the dates and the room category confirmed.
For a closer look at categories and the view caveat, read our rooms and suites guide before you submit a request.
Using the facilities with a mixed-age group
The pool can work for a small group, but the published age rule matters. Guests must be 12+ unless accompanied by a parent or designated adult aged 16+. That rule is separate from the casino age rule.
Casino entry is 19+ in Ontario, and minors cannot be on the gaming floor. If you are travelling with someone under 19, plan routes and meeting points around the hotel, restaurants that permit under-19 guests, the Galleria areas and the pool rather than through the gaming area.
Ponte Vecchio is specifically listed as permitting under-19 guests. For other meals, use the current resort information and our restaurants and bars guide to avoid building a plan around a room your group cannot use.
For couples, the easiest wellness stay is usually one night with a spa booking, a late dinner and a morning pool or work-out area visit before the 11am check-out. For a small group, choose one anchor activity per day. The more people you add, the more important it is to confirm spa appointments and room needs before arrival.
